Organized around a panel discussion on “Empower Youth, Boost Their Knowledge of Sexual and Reproductive Health: Why & How?”, the Power of Young People (PoYP) - Youth Champion Awards 2016 serves as a platform for young people to meet inspirational advocates of youth’s development, discuss and share their visions. The event aims to raise youth’s awareness of the importance of sexual and reproductive health knowledge and encourage young people to discuss the topic openly with our panelists. On the occasion, the UNFPA Cambodia will also introduce the new PoYP Youth Champions.
About The Power of Young People - Youth Champion Awards
The Power of Young People – Youth Champion Awards campaign was launched in 2015 with the aim to acknowledge and honor the commitment of any individual who has been vocal and supportive in youth’s sexual and reproductive health knowledge and rights, gender equality and prevention against gender-based violence. The campaign has received 5K likes on Facebook since its inception.
