With 21.6% of the total population of 14.6 million aged between 15 and 24 years (CIPS, 2013), Cambodia has the youngest population in Southeast Asia. While young people are the greatest resources for socio-economic development, more young people are sexually active these days.
The current marriage rate amongst 15-24 years old has increased. While, there has been a gradual decline in the number of sexually active young women NOT using contraception, limited evidence is available on the SRH of adolescents and youth.
