This report presents findings from a secondary analysis study undertaken as part of the follow-up to the 2010 Cambodia Demographic and Health Survey (CDHS).

This analysis seeks to explore the problems concerning to utilization of child health services and associated factors in Cambodia. Information from this analysis helps health analysts and policymakers to better understand the important characteristics related to utilization of health services in childhood diarrhea and fever. Data from the 2010 Cambodia Demographic and Health was used. Mothers of 7,811 children aged 0-59 months were asked about child's illnesses and type of health facilities where treatment was sought during two weeks prior to the interview. The treatment sought was classified as no treatment, from informal health sector, public health sector and private provider. Factors associated with utilization of health services for diarrhea and fever was assessed using an adapted Andersen's health behavior model.
