The reported prepared specifically for monitoring progress in the implementation of ICPD after befing adopted by 179 countries in 1994 in Cairo as to how much the Royal Goverment of Cambodi committed to realizing the core elements enshrined in the ICPD Programme of Action. 

As there is being considerable overlap between the APMD and SDGs adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015, this means that the two key framework reinforce each other and effective implementation of the APMD recommendations would also contribute towards the achievement of the SDGs.
