Requirement for each Dignity Kit, there should be: 

1. Khmer traditional scarfs (big size for female and first quality Krama): 1 Piece

2. Robe (in Khmer “Sarong”): 1 Piece

3. Detergent/washing powder: 1 Kg

4. Bath soap: 1 Piece

5. Hand gel: 1 Bottle (200ml)

6. Sanitary Pad: 2 Packs

7. Surgical Mask: 1 Pack (50 pieces)

8. Dignity Kit user guide booklet: 1 Booklet

9. UNFPA (co-branded with other logos) Eco-friendly bag (Waterproof Eco bag with handles/zipper size in inch – 16” X 20” X 10”): 1 Unit

 

Objective:

Essential items will help women and girls need in such an emergency for the GBV/VAW survivors, vulnerable Women/Girls, Pregnant Women, and Households suffered by seasonal floods/other natural during the COVID-19 pandemic. The items include such as basic hygiene items and helpful information on COVID-19 are included. The communication and information materials contained are advice for pregnant and lactating women and young girls to help protect themselves against COVID-19, reduce risk from infection, practice social distancing and tips for coping with stress at home, and necessary information for GBV/VAW multi-response services during the pandemic.

In order to prepare and assist vulnerable seasonal flood victims, particularly pregnant women, women at high risk of GBV, and vulnerable young girls, UNFPA Cambodia Country Office is seeking quotations from vendors to provide the estimated quantity of 3,000 dignity kits.

 

Submission Requirements:

Quotations should be prepared based on the guidelines set forth in Section III above, along with a properly filled out and signed price quotation form, and are to be sent by email to the contact person indicated below no later than the closing date at 5 PM Phnom Penh time.

Please note the following guidelines for electronic submissions:

The following reference must be included in the email subject line: RFQ Nº UNFPA/KHM/RFQ/21/013 – Dignity Kits. Proposals that do not contain the correct email subject line may be overlooked by the procurement officer and therefore not considered.

The total email size may not exceed 20 MB (including email body, encoded attachments and headers). Where the technical details are in large electronic files, it is recommended that these be sent separately before the deadline.

Any quotation submitted will be regarded as an offer by the bidder and does not

constitute or imply the acceptance of any quotation by UNFPA. UNFPA is under no obligation to award a contract to any bidder because of this RFQ.

Overview of Evaluation Process:

Quotations will be evaluated based on the compliance with the technical specifications and the total cost of the goods (price quote).

The evaluation will be carried out in a two-step process by an ad-hoc evaluation panel. The comparison of price quotes and inspections of Goods/Items.
