For over 25 years, the ICPD Programme of Action has guided our crucial work, now feeding into the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals. Quite simply, without the ICPD Agenda, UNFPA cannot fulfill the SDGs. Cambodia and other countries reiterated that crucial linkage at the ICPD25 Nairobi Summit in 2019 - to recommit to the Programme of Action to bring about a world and a Cambodia where there are:
- Zero preventable maternal deaths,
- Zero unmet needs for family planning, and
- Zero gender-based violence and harmful practices against women and girls
To increase UNFPA branding and programme visibility, the proposed following approaches are to produce merchandise items and communication products. These materials will be used for outreach activities, field trips, campaigns, and events, including conferences, meetings, and training.
UNFPA is the lead UN agency that expands the possibilities for women and young people to lead healthy sexual and reproductive lives. To read more about UNFPA, please go to: UNFPA about us
